Yocto-RangeFinder

The Yocto-RangeFinder is a USB distance sensor (range finder).

The Yocto-RangeFinder IO can be added with a click on the (+) within the IO Connections.

Within the Inspector the Yocto-RangeFinder needs to know the connection mode (USB or Network) and the device Serial.
There is also a detection mode to run the device in different environments.

*With a click on the magnifyer you will get a list with serials from the connected devices.
If you are using the Yoctohub-Ethernet you first need to set the IP Adress from the hub.

*Yocto devices will be used as Node within the board.
To get access to the Yocto node you will need to drag’n drop the IO Connection into the Board.

The Yocto-RangeFinder Node has three output pins.

• Distance – corresponding to the distance measure.
• Ambient Ir – corresponding to the ambient light estimate.
• Temperature – corresponding to the temperature measure of the sensor itself, needed to determine when a new calibration is required.
