Stage Precision can remote control parameter from Material Parameter Collections.
They can be used within Unreal materials.

Create a Material Parameter Collections

Link the Material Parameter Collection within the Shield Settings

Create parameter which should be controlled

Fetch the exposed parameter

within the Shield IO, a click on the (I)

Control the parameter with a map

create a BP variable map

with a click on the magnifyer all possible parameter will be shown

Control the parameter with a node

Drag and drop the Shield IO into the Board.

choose the BP variable node
