The Sick LMS object is an object that represents a LiDAR sensor from Sick. Currently the following range of products from Sick are supported:
- LMS
- LRS
- MRS
- PicoScan
- TIM
Sick LMS Setup
Sick LMS
Name | Description |

Launch Type | choose connected Sick type like, LMS, Tim, etc. |
Hostname | This is where the target IP address of the host can be input. |
Port | This is the port that the data package will be sent to. |
Scan Area
Name | Description |

Viewer | When pressed the device connection window will be displayed in the viewer. |
Top Left | Define the coordinate for the top left corner of the scanning area |
Top Right | Define the coordinate for the top right corner of the scanning area |
Bottom Left | Define the coordinate for the bottom left corner of the scanning area |
Bottom Right | Define the coordinate for the bottom right corner of the scanning area |
Viewer Zoom | The zoom area in the viewer can be altered. |

Tools
Within the Tools section of the object, there are 2 different tools that can be used for aligning the orientation of the sensor:
- Point Align – using Measurement Points to align the sensor
- Object Align – using an object with points to align the sensor
