There are various types of input maps that can be taken into various different objects.

Input maps can also be from external IO connections. These maps translate the incoming data from the IO connection into data that the object can use, for example, positional and rotational coordinates.

Available input maps vary depending on the object type, therefore not all IO connections can be mapped into every object.
IO connections such as OSC are node-based and must be connected to the object parameters within the board.

All Map Input have the option to add delays to the individual components of the data packet.

Name Description
Delay Position Delay the position data by x number of frames
Delay Rotation Delay the rotation data by x number of frames
Delay Custom Data Delay all other custom data by x number of frames

Functions

Animator

Name Description
Position The position where the animation will occur can be set using the XYZ axis values.
Rotation The rotation axis that the animation occurs on can be set using XYZ or HPB axis.
Animator This can be set to Linear or Circle, this is the direction of the animation.

Linear Animation

Type
  • Sine
  • Cos

  • Triangle
Frequency This is the frequency of the peaks and troughs of the type of wave, the higher the number the quicker the animation will move.
Position Factor This is the amount that the object will move on XYX axis, along the wave in meters.
Rotation Factor This is the amount of rotation the object will do while moving along the wave.

Circle Animation

Name Description
Diameter The diameter of the circle on which the animation happens can be increased or decreased here.
Add Rotation If on, the object which is being affected by the animation will follow the rotation of the circle.
Rotation Offset An offset can be added to the rotation of the object.

Status

Name Description
Tracked State
  • Undefined – When tracker does not have a map input.
  • Inactive – When the tracker has a follow object input map.
  • Active – When the tracker has a target object map input.
Enable Recording When on, recording of these movements is available.

Volume Points

Name Description
Target Volume The target volume can be selected here, once selected individual points can be tracked.
Point Identifier
  • By Index – This selects points depending on the number of points within the volume.
  • By Id – This allows individual points to be specifically selected by their assigned number.
Point The number of the point to be tracked can be selected.

Name Description
