The Interpolator is a volume where reference points can be defined within it with reference values, and a target coordinate will compare its relationship with all the reference points coordinate and their values to interpolate a value for that location in space.
Coordinates
Name | Description |
---|---|
Position | This will move the object along X, Y and Z axis in the local space. |
Scale | Scale of the coordinate system. To scale the Object check the settings under “Display” |
Rotation | Rotation of the object along X, Y and Z axis. |
Interpolated Values
There are 3 types of values that can be added:
- float
- point3D
- color
Points
Define a reference point in space and the interpolated value that should be at that point in space.
Name | Description |
---|---|
Position | This will move the object along X, Y and Z axis in the local space. |
Contribution | The contribution of this point to the current output interpolated value |
Values | The value that should be at the location in space defined by Position |
Interpolator
Name | Description |
---|---|
Size | the size of the volume of the interpolator |
Resolution | how fine the interpolation points should be |

Target Controller |
|
Target Object | An object can be selected for the light to follow. |
Subpoint | When the selected object is a combined or skeleton a single subpoint can be selected to track. |
Spline Percent | When the selected object is a spline the area of the spline can be selected by percentage. |
Target Coordinates | The target coordinates can be selected. |
