MTC is a MIDI timecode, which was initially made to keep MIDI equipment synced.
Timecode in Stage Precision can be used to provide this for Outputs, to drive the Timline, to use it for Recordings and to access it inside the Node system.
MTC IN Setup
Name | Description |

Devices | Input and Output MIDI devices can be selected from the drop-down lists. |
MTC | MIDI Controlled Timecode – when on this will be used. |
MMC | MIDI Machine Control – when on this will be used. |
FrameRate | The framerate can be altered here. |
To open a floating monitor window of the incoming TC, click on this icon:
Event
For this IO connection, under the Event tab, there is the option for a “On Time” Event. User can define actions to trigger when the incoming MTC timecode equals to a specific time.
Node
The MTC In IO connection supports a node object. Drag and drop the IO connection to the board to create a MTC In board node.
