Within SP, there are 2 different types of blob tracking possible depending on the type of sensor
- Image Based Blob Tracking analyzes data from an image to detect a blob or an object of interest. This could be done with an standard color image or a black and white image like those from an IR camera. SP can then take this image and project onto a plane to extrapolate 3D data from a 2D image.
- Point Cloud Blob Tracking analyzes data from a point cloud source. This can be from a 2D point cloud or a 3D point cloud.
